ELEVEN exciting months!

I think I say it every month...but I seriously love this age (luckily he hasn't hit an age that I hate yet-I hope that doesn't happen, but it could :) I can't believe this guy is ELEVEN months! I only have one more month until my baby becomes a toddler :( I'm both very sad and excited about it. 

This month has been a big one for us...lots of events and changes and Rowan has taken it like a champ as always! This month:

-Rowan went on his 12th flight

-I started work and Rowan has adjusted to being with Alexa on days when I'm at work. He has so much fun with her and I'm so grateful that the transition went so well. (and I'm SO grateful to have Alexa who takes amazing care of him which has made my transition back to work a little easier)

-He stands really well but still doesn't really take steps independently. He can take about 2-3 steps when we encourage it, but otherwise he cruises along furniture and walls or sprint crawls :) This is perfect for pictures though...he can stand and look cute but can't run away yet

-Climbs like a little monkey-can get on our low couch and loves to climb up and jump

-Digs between couch cushions or under anyone sitting down

-Talks a LOT and has started to snort laugh when he gets really excited

-Loves the stroller (as long as it's not for too long), still hates the carseat

-Wakes up before 6am almost every single day (something I am trying to fix!)

-Met his cousin Dash for the first time! He is starting to do a lot better playing with other kids (he used to try to poke their eyes out...now he's gentle and gives cute hugs!)

-Favorite "word" is dadadadada. He mixes it up occasionally but definitely likes "words" with Ds best

Sunday nap...church messes up our schedule A LOT, luckily this day we all actually got a nap! It was amazing. He laid on my chest for most of the nap but then slipped down and laid like this for about 10 minutes. It was pretty cute :)

He is very intrigued by animals, it's cute to watch him observe them. He's starting to become friends with Alexa's dog, Duke, too.

I love how comfortable he is at the beach...no hesitation with sea creatures...

...or playing in the sand...

HAPPY 11 months Rowan! I can't even believe how much fun this little guy is! We just sit back and watch him play sometimes and can't believe that he's ours.
