I wanted to do something to say goodbye to my friends from work, but it's impossible to actually get everyone together with shift work. We had talked about karaoke because we had done if for a going away early in the summer and it was so much fun, but with restrictions, etc it didn't seem like the best option, so we decided to do a beach day (more my style anyways!) So, I picked a day, invited everyone out, and we got to have some fun with a bunch of great nurses I had the privilege of working with in Okinawa!
We decided to go to Torii so we could grab a couple of umbrellas and have an easy to find spot. It was perfect.

Doing this made me so sad that we hadn't done it more often. It was seriously SO much fun. The kids played and stayed occupied while I got to hang out with friends.
I didn't anticipate being there all day, but we were still having a great time so figured we'd stay. We got subway for lunch, Boden passed out and we continued to play.
In the afternoon the tide was low and we walked around the tidepools. Rhonda hadn't seen a blue starfish yet so we were on the search. We found some awesome stuff including this red octopus (picture is terrible but it was bright red!) and some blue starfish!
