Beach egg hunt

I'm so glad that I forgot to take the Easter eggs to the beach on Friday because it made us go again the next day...and it turned out to be another perfect beach day. I got me excited all over again to be moving closer to the beach. It really is one of my very favorite places. I feel calm and happy, my kids run around and play together and have fun and are active and it's just the best!
Beach egg hunts are an annual tradition and I'm so glad that we've been able to keep them alive even while living here ;)
Ready, set, hunt!
We hid different color eggs for each kid. We were the only people at the beach when we arrived and it was perfection.

Dylan immediately opened each egg and ate the candy before moving on to find another. He was pretty excited about it!
Rowan had so much fun finding the eggs that he dumped his candy, filled them with rocks and asked us to hide them again. The beach was full of driftwood and grasses, so it was the perfect kind of beach for hiding eggs.

So glad Mimi and Papa could join in on all the fun with us
Hours of fun, we almost didn't want to leave. But rain was imminent and we left just in time!
