Valentine good eats...

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we went to eat at one of our favorite places in town, Saul Good. As of right now, it is probably the only place in town I will really miss when we move. The atmosphere is so fun, cozy and small with very cool chandeliers, pictures, etc. and amazing food. Anyone in Lexington that hasn't been there before, try it!

There was a bit of a wait but a table became available at the back bar (which overlooks the food preparation) and we were hungry, so we took it. It ended up being a fun experience as we got to see the food being prepared and were able to have visuals of most of the menu. One of the cooks noticed our curiosity of the food coming out and gave us samples of a few dishes, which persuaded us to try this:
Grilled salmon with 2 different kinds of pesto and a tzatiki sauce and grilled vegetables. It was AMAZING!
We also split this awesome steak sandwich.
"V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E, Valentine. I made a heart and I cut it out with care, I wrote a poem and it's message I will share. Roses are red, violets are blue, bees love honey and I love you. It is my Valentine, it is time for me to say, Happy, Happy Valentine's Day!" (Valentine's day song I learned in kindergarten and still refer to each time I am spelling Valentine :)

I couldn't be happier to have Grant as my Valentine. It was nice to just spend a few hours out and not thinking about school. We did a little shopping and had a fabulous meal.
