Yep...3 decades have now passed since Grant was born! Everyone at school was shocked to find out how old he was turning...but luckily it wasn't a big deal to Grant, just another year ;)
Here he is, the birthday boy, eating breakfast in his birthday chair, way too early and still looking a little sleepy.

He unfortunately spent the day at school, but when he came home we met some friends at
Regatta for some delicious seafood for dinner! Grant used to request shrimp for every birthday dinner, so seafood is almost a birthday tradition (and his favorite food!) He got hooked up with a free birthday dessert, key lime mousse.

His colored flame birthday candles...pretty cool. Had some good birthday singing by everyone there :)

I decided he deserved something special, since it was a big birthday...so after some idea brainstorming, I decided to do 30 presents! Who wouldn't love opening that many gifts?!

They were obviously not all big presents, some just had candy, etc...but it was still fun to watch him open everything. I set them up in random order in the living room...

...and then he opened them in number order...

On the back of each number tag, I wrote a reason I love him. 30 years, 30 presents, and 30 reasons I love Grant. I thought all you Bachelorette fans out there would appreciate this one ;)

Happy 30th Birthday Grant!
