I have obviously been a slacker blogger recently, I will blame it on school :)
On Valentine's Day, I had class til 7:30 pm, but wanted to at least do something to make it a day different than the rest...so I decorated the table...

Ordered our favorite thai food (chicken pad thai and massuman from Planet Thai)

And hung out together for the evening...

Earlier in the day I made a bunch of cookies to take to people at school, church, etc. It is good these are gone because I have a weakness for sugar cookies, we ate WAY too many of them!

Now looking forward to the next "holiday", St. Patrick's Day! I have come to the realization that we are indeed moving in less than a year and a half, and because of that, I am doing my best to not accumulate anything else (including decorations).
Even though I don't have any St. Patrick's decorations per se, I got together a few green items, printed out
this printable art and put it all together on the table in the living room.

Easy does it and we are ready for St. Patrick's Day! (mostly because it is the week of Spring Break and I'm REALLY ready for Spring Break :)
Those are some amazing looking cookies and I love the St. Pattty's sign, I want to make one.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Wait...where are you moving to?
