Arizona weekend

Grant's family had a little mini reunion last weekend at his parent's in Arizona. Yes, we were all crazy enough to visit Arizona, at the end of June...and it was definitely a hot one. I think it reached 114 degrees all 3 days that I was there. Unfortunately, Grant wasn't able to attend (as he is still at ODS-more to come on that soon).
We made good use of our time there though...shopping in the morning, pool in the afternoon/evening. Can't complain with that lineup.

Shopping...TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, Anthropologie, and more...we had some fun and made some good purchases.

Pool...we frequented a different backyard pool each day that we were there. 1st day Ruth and Curtis' (aunt and uncle), next day some friends in the neighborhood, and finally Kristen and Tyler (cousins)...all pools were a little different and felt wonderful! I love when the water is cold enough to be refreshing, but warm enough to just be able to lay there and float without getting cold.
We grilled out each night and then came home and made frozen drinks...blending up some strawberry and pina colada drinks, delicious :)

And...I got to spend some time with the little guys...Gavin and Kade. They were swimming machines!

I feel fortunate to be part of an in-law family where I can enjoy time and be comfortable, even when Grant is not there...however, I think he definitely needs to attend next time-I like life just a little bit more with my husband around :)
