This cute kid is already 17 months! (and I'm a little late posting this!) Here's a small sampling of some of our pics from this month (mostly random ones camptured with my phone). It's been a busy and fun month. Can't imagine life without this little guy, we love him!
This month he:
-learned to open the doors in the house (which can cause problems occasionally but usually is ok)
-likes drawing with chalk outside (including all over the front door and windows) and we introduced him to colored pencils and paper during the typhoon. It's the beginning of a lot of masterpieces I believe ;)
-Loves to look for airplanes and runs to the window whenever he hears one
-points to his diaper when it needs to be changed and also started pointing to it right before he poops (we're still a long ways from potty training but I feel like it's a good step!)
-has gotten good at stacking legos and building tall towers
-can do simple shape puzzles
-still an amazing dancer and loves to dance to music and any toy that makes noise
-Eats really well with silverwear and continues to be a pretty good eater
Somehow learned what a gun is and points any gun shaped object and makes a shooting noise. Seriously have no idea where he learned this. It's a boy thing I guess!
Insisted on pushing this little cart around instead of sitting in the cart and he actually did a really good job!
This favorite kitchen activity (besides trying to get knives and food out). He LOVES putting lids on things
Learned to fold his arms to pray and he does it every time we sit down to eat. It's adorable. At the end he doesn't say amen yet but nods his head vigorously in agreement :)
Good little helper by eating half a cookie's worth of dough one finger scoop at a time
And occasionally I get to cuddle with him for a nap (a perk of night shift). Love how peaceful he is in his sleep
Guns are in boys' DNA.
