Rainy day bike ride

We have had quite a few rainy days recently and since I'm trying to not let the weather dictate our ability to have fun, we broke out the rain jackets and went looking for some puddles. The boys are kind of obsessed with riding their striders right now, so a bike path with puddles was their dream come true. To top it off, Grant got off an hour early so we picked him up and he was able to come with us! Pictures pretty much speak for themselves here, pure joy, big puddles and cute kids.
Rowan was a little freaked out looking through the holes in the bridge at the water below.
Although rainy, it had finally stopped raining, and it was actually decently warm so we could enjoy hanging out.
Happy baby!
Loved finally being able to get some pictures of Dylan that weren't on my phone and inside my dark house. He is such a perfect part of our family, we all love this little guy.
Puddles!

Someone got a little too excited...oops.
He was SOAKED, but did really well continuing on and didn't complain of being cold until we were almost back to the car (and luckily I had entirely new outfits for everyone)
Part of the reason we rode on this part of the trail was because we wanted to show Grant all the "beaver trees". There are so many trees along this stretch that have been chewed by beavers! Some of them look like they are about to fall over, it is crazy.
Happened upon a small bamboo forest
Some pretty cool trees along the way! This one the boys could stand inside!
I love fun adventures with my little family. I can't believe how big these 2 are getting though. They're getting hard to keep up with sometimes (which can be scary since Boden especially is a little fearless and can get out of control on hills sometimes!) Praying we stay accident and injury free as they get more brave and adventurous.
