Honda Beat Autocross

I think one of the hardest things about residency for Grant is his lack of time to do any car related things. So, when Blake (his co-resident) found an autocross race close by one weekend and offered to let Grant drive his car in it, he jumped at the chance.
He has a yellow Honda Beat (a TINY Japanese car-right hand drive, manual). Grant took Rowan with him (because he loves cars and was craving dad time)...and unbeknownst to me, he got to sit shotgun for all races.
Blake went in the 2nd group and Grant raced in the 3rd. My parents were visiting so they drove up with me and Dylan and Boden to watch Grant's races.
He had a great time and I was glad to let him do it...even though it started a downward spiral of him starting his quest to find a new fun car for himself (I have had to remind him several times that he has a fun car project in the garage, he just doesn't have time for it right now).
I think Rowan got a bit of heat sickness that night from being outside in the nasty humidity all day long, but he had an awesome time while it lasted. Fun day for these boys.
