The third week of school the kids had a random Wednesday off so we decided to make the most of the perfect weather forecast and headed to the "beach". We got there around 10:30 and stayed until 3 and had fun the entire time. We really love this little spot, it has been such a great find. The storms from the previous week had washed up a bunch of trash which was not ideal, but the kids had fun with all the dead washed up sea life. My favorite part of the day might have been watching my boys work together to construct this "sea life cemetery". They were later joined by friends to finish the construction and put the large dead fish in its final resting place. There was a fish section of the cemetery and a "crab and horseshoe" section. It was seriously so fun to see them all working together.
Dylan had a great time climbing around in the sand. We also took our large intertubes which provided hours of entertainment in the water. The water was a little choppier than last time we were there but still calm enough for the kids to play in. The temperature of it was perfect.
Grateful for good friends and good times at one of our favorite places!
