Well since it's November, we decided to gear up for the holidays with a "favorite holiday treat" Taste night. For those of you who don't know what Taste Night is,
click here. I thought I'd share just a few pictures of some amazing creations :)
I made these... Pumpkin pecan butter dessert squares (a Williams Sonoma recipe which I also blogged about last year...recipe is
HERE)

Pumpkin bread

A yummy Chex mix

Turtles

Hidden cherry cookies

Thumbprint cookies

Some more good stuff...

"Sugar plums"

Apple pie caramel apple- like my FAVORITE one at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Mint chocolate and lemon poppyseed white chocolate balls

And the reason my husband loves me...his take-home plate :)

There were SO many amazing desserts, but somehow, I was able to get out of there without feeling totally sick. I was very proud of myself for that! I'll have all these recipes so if something looks extra tasty let me know and I'll send the recipe your way :)
Those cherry chocolate cookies are the BOMB!!! My mom brought those home once from a cookie exchange and I finally got around to making them a few weeks ago. All of those desserts look so yummy! Wish we lived closer so we could be in the taste night posse!
ReplyDeleteYum! These desserts look delicious! It is making me so excited for the holidays. Can you send me the apple recipe. It reminds me of the time that you guys, Erin and Lincoln and us went to Park City and went to The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I'm glad you already posted your recipe. It looks so good! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteApple pie apple PLEASE. I have always wanted to make it. I wish I could be part of your group!
ReplyDeleteI love Pecan Pumpkin Butter Squares. I bought so much PPB when I was working at WS. They're my favorite.
