3 little monkeys

A fun skill I acquired over the break was that of crocheting. I learned to knit several Christmas' ago, made a bunch of scarves, and then never really did it again. I am afraid I will not have time to crochet again for quite some time, but it was a great past time while we were sitting around the house in Arizona.

Thank you Tricia for teaching me all I know! You were a great teacher and I was amazed by how far I came in a short little time. Here is my first ever little piece of crochet (which probably took me as long as an entire hat once I got faster!)

I was shocked that I was able to make something this cute (and have it not look like I was a beginner). I didn't know if I was confident enough to sport a monkey hat, so I thought of some of the little people I thought would look adorable in them...and crocheted up 3 :)
They just arrived in the mail today and I was so excited to get this SUPER CUTE picture! They are a little big but they will definitely grow into them. My nephew Kade (my head model) must have a bit bigger really cute head ;)
Unfortunately this was our last real Christmas break, but I can't wait to see what craft I might come up with for my next break. So much fun :)
