The last month...

This little guy has definitely been growing this month...I've gone from what I thought was a little belly, to what is clearly a baby bump! It's been a really "fun" month for the most part though, from finding out he was a boy, starting to feeling him even more (and lots from the outside), feeling pretty good for the most part, and seeing my belly grow! Grant continues to laugh every time he sees my bare belly (he assures me it's not a bad thing that he laughs, just means that he's not used to seeing me with a gut). We have fun feeling him dancing and kicking in there and I'm enjoying not being terribly big and uncomfortable yet!

I've been slacking on my pregnancy journal, but I've had a lot of fun with these pictures, documenting major things that happen each week. I know it's going to get harder and harder to look at myself in these photos, but it's a really fun crazy miracle and I'm loving it.

  2. I love reading these baby posts! Many comments:

    1. I'm still trying to figure out how a spaghetti squash is smaller than a papaya and an ear of corn. Crazy! :)
    2. Maybe it's the shirt, but it looks like you really "popped" on week 23. It's cool to see the change documented.
    3. I loved my Bob Revolution. Totally worth the money! (I had the double.)
    4. Embedded in Chinese culture as I now am, I can tell you that he will be born in the Year of the Snake. Now you'll have to see what that tells you about him :).

    1. I agree...the fruits and veggies are often very misleading. I think it has to do more with length than mass, but still doesn't seem right :)
      2. I DEFINITELY popped in week 23. I went to N. Carolina and came back and Grant said, "woah!"
      3. So excited for the Bob :)
      4. I just read about the snake...seems mostly good ;)

  3. I agree that the belly belt is a lifesaver, I couldn't have worked at the hospital until I was overdue with Sam if I didn't have the belt, it's a huge difference in back pain or none! And to sleep, a body pillow helps a ton if you don't use one. I love your baby posts, I've never wanted to document my hugeness before, but you are so cute! Let's get together soon!

  4. Yes, I'm blogstalking again. You finally look like you might be pregnant. Of course, I looked like that at 11 weeks, though it wasn't all baby. More of a "I just got back from 5 weeks in America and eating American food look," but people at church started asking Travis back then. I was mortified, but I didn't gain any additional weight for 9 weeks. It is fun to see your weekly updates. I wish I had been better at documenting, but life was/is too crazy sometimes. Maybe I'll go through journals, notes, etc. sometimes and put together something. Continued best wishes.

  5. I smiled reading about Grant laughing at the belly when it's not clothed. :) Mine was laughed at and the butt of many jokes. It is weird to see yourself like that. :)
