Heidi's shower

Last weekend I threw a baby shower for my Oceanside bestie/prego workout buddy, Heidi. I totally failed at getting a cute picture of it all set up. We had a sweet food spread and I even made little pennant banners and starfish to hang everywhere, but unfortunately the only photo I got was this one, with the food almost gone! We had cinnamon rolls, orange rolls, brown sugar bacon skewers, chicken and apple sausage, fruit salad, and REALLY cute starfish sugar cookies as favors.

Love this expression (especially coming from Heidi who was convinced her child was a boy until the ultrasound definitively confirmed it :) "Um...I'm supposed to put these on her head?!" Jk, you're going to be an insanely cute girl mom Heidi! Can't wait to see her all dolled up with your fun shower spoils!

 Belly buddies (except I have to wait 9 weeks longer than her!) Love that when we started running together she broke the news that she was pregnant and even though I didn't know it yet...I was actually like 3 weeks pregnant! It's been the best pregnant partnership, so grateful.

 The whole party (minus a couple people)...it was a fun day with LOTS of pregnant girls (yet still no drama :)
