The 7th month

Sometimes it feels like time is creeping and I've been pregnant forever, but then again, the weeks fly by. It is crazy to see how fast I am growing these days...luckily for the strength of the kicks and how often I feel the little man now, I can tell he's also growing, not just me :)

Starting my 3rd trimester was probably the biggest milestone of the last month and I am lucky enough to still be feeling relatively good. I'm still running a little bit (but I have a feeling I will resort to only walking in the next week or two). I also have a feeling that I'm not going to like these profile pictures very much in the coming weeks-but I do love comparison pics so I will continue to take them no matter how huge I feel like I look :)

I have been working twice a week in the OB clinic the last few weeks which has been an interesting experience. I am mostly working with patients who are in the very early stages of pregnancy (and even though I wasn't super miserable in those days, I am definitely glad to be out of the dreaded first trimester). It really does feel like that was so long ago. I need to really start thinking more about the birth and actually being a parent...scary stuff! I think the fact that we are moving 2 months after his birth makes the whole thing even a little harder to really wrap my head around. In the meantime, we're going to continue to love and enjoy the beach and all the visitors we get here. Life is good and we are enjoying the last couple months of life as we know it but are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our cute little man!

  2. You really do look wonderful! Being a parent is amazing (and hard) but sooo worth it. If you haven't considered getting a rock-n-play yet check them out-it is by far my favorite baby item ever!

  4. I LOVE seeing your belly profile pics!! So fun to see. I was going to tell you in your last blog post that I could actually tell you were pregnant!! That's pretty awesome you could go more than half way and still not have people notice :) You look so great! And TINY! Oh and have you noticed your hair is getting sooo long!! I guess that's a perk of pregnancy. Ha ha I had to laugh at the testicles remark. Where are you registered/going to register??
