I enjoyed several plates of fruit each morning in addition to my waffles and pancakes :)
Since we were all still feeling a little bit sick, we decided to make it a lounging/pool day and just enjoy the resort and all it had to offer. Our plan for this vacation was half sightseeing and staying busy, and half relaxing at the resort and enjoying our family "babymoon". We staked out our spot at the pool after breakfast and stayed until naptime. It was a beautiful morning. I was surprised just how warm it was in Phuket. It was 90 degrees and slightly humid, felt like summer. It even felt like a big change from here, but I can't even imagine what it was like for all the people vacationing from snowy areas! That's the other thing that was so fun about this trip. The resort was full of people from ALL over the world! There were so many languages being spoken in just our little area around the pool.
One of the greatest parts of the pool, free mini bananas and popsicles!
My cute matching boys getting popsicles. Rowan started getting brave and going up to ask for them by himself, it was adorable! Of course the pool guys couldn't resist his little smile either ;)
The slide was definitely a highlight of the pool...Rowan kept asking to go on it. He went down with us several times and then decided he wanted to do it by himself so one of us would catch him at the bottom. So brave!
Another favorite...pool throwing. Check out his form!
This main pool was huge, and at one end was turtles...
...and the other end had elephants. Rowan is obsessed with both animals which just added to the joy and excitement of the entire experience.
That night we walked around, enjoyed the beach at sunset and checked out some other areas of the resort.
This picture cracks me up and makes me so sad. Look how gorgeous it was! And then look at poor Rowan's face :( He had snot and eye goobers constantly that we were wiping, and by the end of the day he looked so sad! Every time I looked at him this night it made me feel so bad. Luckily we all woke up the next morning feeling so much better!
Still looking sad but slightly better with a smile :)
The sunset was gorgeous and we were ready for our adventures the next day!

Your photos should most definitely be in a famous magazine- like National Geographic!! BEAUTIFUL!! It looks like it was such a wonderful time!!
