Thailand odds and (the) ends

The rest of our trip was a collection of good times but at and around our resort. I can't think of a good way to organize my pictures or thoughts, so thought I'd just compile this last post from Thailand in a random manner, showing all of the other things we loved about Phuket!
We loved waking up in the morning and walking to our delicious breakfast in this gorgeous place! Rowan would always be in such a great mood and knew exactly where we were headed. You could smell the fresh baked bakery items as you walked near the restaurant.
A standard Rowan breakfast. His milk box, yogurt, fruit and of course his favorite, the pancakes to dip in syrup!
And we got to breakfast every morning before it was too busy, so we got one of two tables every single day with this view!
The beach right outside our resort was beautiful also! We obviously have a lot of accessibility to beautiful beaches here in Okinawa; however, the sand at this one was especially nice. Ours is full of coral and shells making it hard to make sand castles, etc. so it was fun to play in a different kind of finer sand!
And Grant spotted a tiny little jelly fish that he snapped a cool photo of after releasing it from the bucket he caught it in.
It may seem silly, but I seriously looked forward to coming home in the evenings and seeing what kind of towel animals they had made for us that day! The orchids added an extra fun touch too.
I hold a special place in my heart for sunsets. I've always loved them but I think living in Oceanside made them really a part of my life. We had gorgeous sunsets every single night. I loved it! Here is my 28 week photo!
Again, the pool surrounded by rocks was this kid's dream come true.

And the food...we enjoyed so much good food with amazing views. This may have been the hardest part of coming back to Okinawa. If we had Thai food here I would be in heaven :)
We had fun looking at all the statues and trying out all the fun benches, etc. This resort really was so fun and beautiful.

We played hard and we crashed hard! We got spoiled by this insanely large bed though. When we got home Grant and I both thought that our queen bed looked like a twin it was so small. We will definitely be upgrading to a larger bed when we buy a new one :)
There were plumerias everywhere (one of my favorite trees!). Rowan would help collect flowers that had fallen and bring them over to me. He saw me put them behind my ear enough times that he started doing it himself :)
I wasn't ready to leave, but in a way I was ready to get back home. It was weird the sense of "home" I felt just getting on the place in Bangkok because it was Japan Airlines and I was able to use my limited Japanese to talk to people again. Crazy how familiar these orchids in the Naha airport were this time around than when we arrived over a year and a half ago! The flight home was amazing, couldn't have gone smoother.
We are now home for the duration of this pregnancy (and it'll be a bit until we get baby's passport, etc) so we're happy we got a little bit of traveling done before baby #2 makes his grand entrance!
