Murasaki Mura is a little village that was initially constructed as the setting for a TV show in the 90s here in Japan (called Dragon Palace) :) Now it is a cute village that has crafts, etc. and this year they had their first ever lantern festival. It's been going for a few months and ended this weekend, so we finally squeezed it in a couple of days before it ended. It had been pouring for the hour or so before, but we were so lucky and the rain went away completely while we were there! It was perfect. It wasn't crowded at all (probably because of the weather). Alexa went with us and McCarleys met us there. It was fun to just walk around enjoying the lanterns and hanging out.
Shisa love. Is he cute or what?!
"Dad, take a picture of me hugging this pole." He's gotten a little bit snottier about us taking pics of him so we definitely jumped at the opportunity for a pic with his cooperation :)
They're getting so big!
This little guy was worn out! We stayed out late :) He was so snuggly at the end of the night, just smiling and cuddling on my chest. I LOVE Boden cuddles.
