Our house up north was supposed to be the relaxation portion of our trip, and it lived up to that. We spent the majority of our time hanging out by the pool with a few side trips to get us up and out of the house occasionally :)
One morning, the gardener came out and climbed a coconut tree and cut a bunch of them down for us. It was quite impressive!
He then cut them all open for us to drink from. We each got our own huge coconut. It was almost shocking how much water was in each one!
Cool kids enjoying their drinks after playing hard at the beach :)
And if the fresh coconuts weren't enough, we came back up to the house to be served our delicious breakfast.
Our new fun fruit that we ate a lot of on this trip...mangosteens. They were a little weird but super delicious.
Then it was more pool time:
Loving Aunt Holly!
Rowan and Joey did really well together this trip. They go through phases of getting along and fighting, but overall on this trip they had a good time together!
Lounging with our floating coconuts :)
Our small trip for the day was into town (Lovina). It ended up being a lot of people bothering us to buy stuff (mostly jewelry, etc) but it was still fun to walk around and see some things.
And then we headed back home for some more relaxation. The kids napped and we took turns getting massages (girls then guys). Holly and I freshly massaged enjoying more coconut :) Just hanging out in this yard really was one of my favorite parts of this trip.
And of course we were spoiled with some more delicious Balinese food...
And more Bali sunsets...
