More adventures

 

It has been so wonderful to have people visit us here. I can't tell you how blessed I feel to have had as many visitors as we have had so far living across the world from our family! We are loving having Holly and Jonny here for these 2 weeks, and having visitors always gets us up and finding new and loved things to do. Here's just a little bit of fun we've been up to the last few days.

Monday: Dinner at Ocean's Pizza and a walk around the beach at the Gala. This is one of my favorite places to walk around.  I feel like there are hardly any other people there and the views are always gorgeous!

Tuesday: Waterfall and hike day....we did 2 waterfall hikes (one of them was more of a short walk), but had a great time exploring. I love the beach so much that I sometimes neglect the middle of the island, but there truly is a lot of beauty there too. We ended the night with a hike up the stairs that lead to views in the middle of the skinniest part of the island where you can see the East China Sea and Pacific Ocean. The sunset was a perfect way to end the night and Rowan entertained us with some awesome dance moves. And to top things off, we got Hungry Tacos for dinner (we're doing a lot of eating out this trip too :)

Wednesday: We went to the mini zoo this morning, followed by a little shopping, lunch at Hamazushi (sushi-go-round) and then spent the afternoon at Maeda tidepooling and snorkeling. I had to work tonight so I went home after an hour at the beach, but everyone else continued to enjoy this gorgeous November day!

These two weeks are flying by, but I'm glad we still have a few more days of fun. We hope the weather continues to cooperate (it looks like the typhoon is going to pass us although it's made for some rougher seas the last few days), but we really can't complain, it's been so nice. Rowan is loving both Holly and Jonny and it's been so fun to see them play together.
