I realized months ago that I would be working on Halloween night and was pretty depressed about it. So, I started making plans to make sure that Halloween wasn't something that I totally missed out on, especially now that I have a kid, it's so much more fun!
Brea helped plan a neighborhood Halloween party the weekend before, and we had a great turnout with great costumes (even though Grant and I were the only adults in costume ;) We had a great potluck and fun with bounce houses.
Monday night the Finlaysons had us over for an FHE evening of chili, mummy dogs and pineapple carving!
The good thing about working night shift is that I have a few hours during the day even on days that I work to hang out with my boys. So we had a fun Halloween lunch with jack-o-lantern quesadillas :) Rowan was pretty excited about them.
Holly and Jonny found out what our costumes were and decided to dress up as something that could go along with our theme. It turned out so cute!
