North Shore

Wednesday we started out early and headed up to the North Shore. We stopped at the Dole Plantation on the way up just to walk around for a few minutes. It was fun to show Rowan around. Waving to the pink pineapples...

 "Choo-Choo"
And since Haleiwa was the first place on the north shore that we hit, we stopped at Matsumotos and enjoyed a large melona, mango, guava shaved ice. I'm obsessed.
Rowan was an equally big fan and LOVED it. We have some good shaved ice at a place in Okinawa but the flavors definitely don't compare.
 Cheers!
After we were done in Haleiwa (we did a little more shopping at Surf N Sea too), it was nap time, so Rowan slept in the car while we enjoyed lunch (yummy leftover pizza) at Sunset Beach and then drove over to Laie to check out my old stomping grounds. He woke up just after that and we headed back over to Pipeline Beach.
All this kid needs is a bucket, shovel and sand and he's entertained for hours! I love it.
24.5 weeks! (I feel like my bump is big so much faster than last time around!)
One of my favorite things, "Kiss your brother"...and he does!
Perfect weather, perfect day. Rowan is kind of obsessed with turtles too so we were hoping to be able to see some while we were there. He does a super cute turtle noise that he made up on his own. He went to "sea turtle beach" and there was one! WAY fewer than last time we were there and it was roped off so we couldn't get super close, but he was still super excited which was cute.
We hit up Matsumotos again on the way home, this time trying passion fruit instead of the mango which was equally delicious. We felt justified since we split both times ;)
Finally we hit up an art gallery and ate some delicious burgers for dinner. This vacation was becoming better and better! LOVED these days with my boys.
