Frosty the "Snow"/Sandman

We are planning a snow trip for February and since our children have never experienced temps under like 50 degrees, we thought it was time to invest in a few snow clothes (although not too many :) Luckily I know everything I buy for Rowan, Boden can eventually wear which is nice. So, a couple weeks ago the package finally arrived and Rowan couldn't wait to try on his new jacket! He put it and his hat on and then literally ran to get a blanket and a carrot and opened the front door to say, "Going to find snow!" I think he was a little disappointed that I told him that wasn't going to happen, but I thought of something that might at least appease him a little bit :)
So...we headed down to the beach and built "Frosty"! He had seen the Frosty the Snowman cartoon a couple of times this month so he knew he wanted a carrot nose and was determined that Frosty would "come alive".
Seashell buttons...this is my kind of snowman :)
He posed for one photo but then got a little scared that he really was going to come alive...but equally disappointed that he didn't! It was seriously so cute how determined he was for Frosty to come to life and be his friend.
Seaweed hat finished him off (too bad it wasn't magic seaweed)
Sunset in the distance, huge winter coat that makes it look freezing (except for the fact that he's not wearing pants and it wasn't cold at all :)
These are the moments that I love having a 2-year-old. He was the cutest thing ever...
