We decided to continue on our roll of Okinawa castle ruins, so we met the Remedios' there on morning and explored the ruins.
Like the others, it was had a beautiful view and the grounds were equally gorgeous. We are loving this "winter weather" for things like this. It's nice to not be sweating every time you're outside :)

"Catch!"
View
from the top. Every time we go somewhere like this, I have to comment
about that fact that there could never be anything like it in the US.
I'm also glad that I don't have a super crazy kid who would just run off
the side of this wall. It is amazing though because it doesn't have to
have fences and signs all over the place. We really get to explore in
mostly natural preserved beauty.
And the boys read all the Japanese signs for us :)
Afterwards,
we headed to park nearby and then had lunch at a delicious pancake
house! I'm pretty sure Rowan ate more than I did ;)
And then we came home and both our kids napped...it was wonderful :)
