After wedding La Jolla fun

We had one more full day left in our beach house in La Jolla after the wedding, so we took full advantage. October is one of my favorite months in San Diego, and it did not disappoint this time around either. Perfect weather, no crowds. It's amazing. So we spent pretty much the whole day at the beach and ate more tacos...so many tacos...
Dylan's first time with his toes in the ocean!
Our backyard at the house was as great as the house itself. So grateful to my parents for letting us all stay there together for the week. Made for such a great experience!
It was harder to say goodbye this time. We've spent so much time with my parents the last couple months that this was hard to say bye without another trip planned this time. We did beach house in July, they drove across the country with us, spent a week unpacking in Maryland and then my mom was back out for 2 weeks before we headed back out to California and got to see them. My mom said a family prayer before we all went our separate ways on Sunday morning and was crying during it. Boden kept saying, "You can do it!" and at the end Rowan said, "That was a REALLY sad prayer." It was hilarious and lightened the mood ;)
Alexa's favorite spot was the hammock! Kindle reading, kid cuddling, enjoying the perfect air...
My parents started their drive home and we spent a little more time with Karleigh and Brandon walking around La Jolla before they flew home and we headed up to Oceanside for a few days.  We ate more tacos and fresh made churros (and still less than 6 wks postpartum so not feeling to guilty ;)
