"You're getting married today!"-Boden
That was the quote of the day since Boden woke up screaming it and ran out to tell Holly. It was so cute. Both of my sisters have now gotten married in my first month postpartum (I think it's a cruel plot against me), but we were still SO excited for this wedding to take place. Holly and Jonny had been together 13 years and talked about marriage for years, so to see it finally happen was joyous for everyone! We got ready at the beach house in the morning and then headed to the temple around 10 for their 11am sealing.
Alexa was a trooper for watching all the boys and having to keep their clothes clean for the hour or so that I was at the temple!
The sealing was perfect. The tears streaming down Jonny's cheeks but tears in my eyes and they were both smiling ear to ear. So cute!
I was grateful to everyone for accommodating me and my nursing baby with pictures after they came out etc. After we finished bridesmaid photos I snuck away to nurse Dylan. I used my carseat cover/nursing cover to put over my feet and pulled it up so that I could pull my dress all the way up to nurse him. It was not a nursing friendly dress but this was the perfect solution. I might need to send a picture to the manufacturer as another use for this already 5 in 1 cover :)
And as I burped him I got my first of a few rounds of spit up on my dress. Luckily the very worst of it was at the very end of the night when he puked all the way down the front of me!
On the way home from the temple we were going to stop for lunch; however, before we even left the parking lot, all 3 boys were totally passed out. Karleigh and Brandon were kind enough to get Taco Stand for us and I had one of the best California burritos of my life when I got back to the house! The boys transferred to bed and stayed asleep until we had to leave for the reception. Perfection!
They planned their reception for a gorgeous outdoor area at the Bali Hai. It was so fun to be back there as it is where Grant and I had our reception (although in a different room). The food was delicious, the scenery amazing and the bride and groom as happy as could be! The only mishap was with the cake...the bakery truck had to stop short en route to the reception and apparently the whole cake toppled over and was ruined. They hurried back to the bakery to try to fix it; however, it was late, the flavors were not what they had picked out and it didn't look identical to what they wanted. BUT, it was still a gorgeous cake and the bakery was very good and gave them a complete refund! I thought that was a pretty ok thing to be the worst thing of your wedding day.
It was cute to see how excited the boys were about the whole ordeal. Boden especially loved all this wedding business!

Holly was a gorgeous bride and you could see just how happy she was!
The kids all had fun playing on the rocks and running out on the pier. It became a little more nervewracking as it got dark but was still fun for them. Chloe (my cousin's daughter) was so cute playing with each of my boys at different points in the night.
Dinner was delicious and the toasts were a true story of their love for one another. We were again so happy that Alexa could be there to share in the festivities with us.
As it grew dark, there was the most gorgeous moon rise I've probably ever seen. These pictures don't come close to showing it's magnificence, but they can remind me how awesome it was. (I'm really hoping the photographer got an awesome shot)
Such a perfect night overlooking downtown San Diego!
