Well it's that time of year, most of you already have posted pumpkin carving pictures on your blogs, etc so I decided I better jump on the band wagon and get-er-done. Beth has been in town the last couple days and Travis was kind enough to share her with us for a little while. We miss you Beth, can't wait for you to come back for good! We all got some pumpkins, decided what we wanted to do and started carving away. My pumpkin was a really weird consistency, full of stringy things that looked like shredded carrots. The more you scraped the more stringy it became until eventually I had to just give up :) So much for picking out that "perfect" pumpkin.
We were glad to have Grant back from his sealant trip! Hopefully he can get some pictures from someone else (since our camera was dead) and we'll post about that trip soon!
Beth, me and Mallory. They went out to a yummy dinner first and are looking MUCH more fashionable than me! I did successfully "winterize" our closet yesterday though.
I knew that bench out front would be good for something besides putting groceries on while I'm unlocking the door.

These are Grant and my pumpkins. Mine is the spider and web and his is the boo ghost. Nate told me my pumpkin was a little too "happy for Halloween" but I like it :) Notice his cute little tooth. Grant's ghost turned out awesome too! Hopefully no punk kids smash them in the next 3 days.
And finally, Grant, me, Mallory and Beth's pumpkins! Travis and Nate were doing faces so took them a bit longer but they were really starting to come together and looked awesome!

And of course we finished the night off with some pumpkin pie...apparently Grant was having fun making weird faces last night!
So cute and fun! I decided I'm going to carve pumpkins tonight, I don't really have time but I'm going to anyway, you only get to do it once a year! And I have the same costume problem, I decided to be a dancer!
