Cruisin'

I cannot believe that summer is coming to a close...this is the first year since I was about 3 that back-to-school has really had little/no significance to me. The only signs of back to school here have been that we don't have a lifeguard during the week anymore and the beaches have gotten a little less crowded. I'm completely ok with both of those things occurring. Our weather has been perfect and the sunsets unreal, so if this is what the end of summer looks like, bring it on.

However, many of our neighbors only live here for the summer and will be returning home to Arizona for the bearable/pleasant months over there. We are completely in love with our little complex and have made good friends with our neighbors who we will be sad to see them leave in the next couple of weeks. In conversation with one couple, they told us we had to take their Escalade golf cart out for a spin before they left. So...we invited a few of Grant's co-workers over after work one night and cruised around town and then to Cold Stone for some dessert.
-Grant, Brooke and Jenny "oral warriors"-
We all took turns driving and equally as fun as driving around was watching the looks we got from people. This cart is completely street legal equipped with turn signals, seatbelts, license plates, the works. So funny to watch people stare and comment on it. We live in the perfect little area to make use of it because there are several restaurants, etc close by. They took it out to pick up pizza for everyone the other night.
Fun night out...the joys of no longer being a student (we can enjoy the evenings without the worry of homework/studying hanging over our heads)

  1. That is the funniest golf cart/car I've ever seen. You have some rich beach neighbors...
