THIRTY-TWO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT!!! Just wanted to document some fun pictures from Grant's birthday. It was fun to have my parents here to celebrate with us.

Grant got off work about an hour early, so we spent some time at the beach and in the waves. The waves have been awesome the last couple of days...best total body workout ever! We've been having a lot of fun out in the ocean.

After the beach we cleaned up quickly and biked over to the harbor for dinner at Lighthouse. It was seriously an amazing dinner. At the end of dinner I said how much I enjoyed a good meal, with good people in a beautiful place. I am continually in awe of the beauty all around us.

After dinner we did some grocery shopping for our family beach party on Saturday and then came home for presents and "cake" (actually pie-see previous post).

And while I was wrapping presents I found a bunch of glowsticks that I bought years ago and had never used, so whipped them out for some glowstick fun in the dark :) It was hard to get a good photo but here's one of all of us with them :)

 I love that even the start to Grant's day (at work) was a good one. We feel so fortunate that he loves his job. Something we have learned about living at the beach is that our cars get dirty, FAST! It is a pain to wash them so often but necessary unless you want to get your hands all gross just closing the door, etc. Grant hadn't had time to wash his car, so I headed out and did it after he went to bed on Thursday night...midnight car washing party, it was good times, but probably one of the presents he appreciated most :)
