We were SO blessed to have my parents come visit for 2 weeks! One of the hardest parts of living in Okinawa is being so far from family, especially with a little kid (can't really call him a "baby" anymore!) We knew we only had 2 weeks together so we hit the ground running when they got here. They flew in late Friday night, and Saturday we had a church party at Torii beach. It was a pretty windy day so it wasn't perfect beach weather, but we had delicious food and Rowan got to play in a water fountain for the first time, which was so much fun to watch! He was slightly hesitant at first, but Grandma coaxed him in and he ended up loving it!
Grant captured some really fun pictures! Love that the water stands still in them.
Having Rowan walking makes pictures (and lots of other things) more difficult because he is always on the go...but it has also opened our world to so many fun new activities. I have a feeling this is going to be a really fun summer...
