American Village at "X-mas"

Christmas is surprisingly big in Okinawa, however, it is 100% commercialized. Although it doesn't get one into the true spirit of Christmas, it is so much fun to see what the people here are doing with the season. One night we headed to American Village just to walk around for a bit. It was pretty fun. Rowan LOVED all the characters from afar, but hated them if we got too near. 6 feet away is about his comfort zone. And there is no leaving him alone with them. He needs the security of us holding him :)

"Hi Mr. Snowman, I like you from back here!"

Surrounded by reindeer.
Merry X-mas

We met a little Chinese family on vacation here who were practicing their English by talking to us. They wanted their little kid to shake Rowan's hand. It was pretty cute to see them do it.
Checking out if his name is on Santa's "nice list"...

It was such a fun and random walk around, and we got back to the car just as it started to rain, perfect!
