I have a hard time getting motivated for traditional type photo shoots, and because of that I keep putting it off and sometimes never get around to it. I had in my mind what I wanted for maternity photos, but it takes the perfect combination of weather, sun, timing, etc so I'm not sure it's going to happen. So luckily, Brea convinced me to go out for a short shoot last week and even though it was somewhat impromptu, we got some cute ones which I'm really happy about! This was 36 weeks exactly (and I think this baby is already as big as Rowan was at 40!) I'm definitely nervous about the addition of another child into our family, but also so excited. I don't know for sure how Rowan will react, but he is so sweet and I think will adore his little brother. It'll be interesting though, because whenever he hears a baby cry he gets very concerned and kind of whines for them. He'll either be sad a lot or get over that sympathy pretty quick with a newborn around :) I'm still feeling pretty good so in some ways I'm happy to stay pregnant awhile longer, but in other ways I'm ready for him to come!
And then Dominik and Rowan wanted their picture taken making sand angels :) I almost wish we were having an older child because Rowan is so good at playing with "big kids". He adores them. Maybe we'll adopt a well mannered 6-year old (jk;)
