Halloween- Fire house edition

I started thinking about Halloween several months ago, trying to decide what I wanted the kids to be! About 2 months ago I randomly asked Rowan what he wanted to be and he answered "Fire truck!"... So...we made it come true. I was super excited about them being a fire truck and dalmatian. Because I knew we'd be in Arizona and not home, I enlisted my in laws for help and they definitely came through big time! We ordered Rowan's costume on amazon, but they made the entire truck box and Boden's full costume! They did such a fantastic job. I couldn't find a cute dalmation costume anywhere so I was so grateful they did such a good job making this one. Tammy made it so realistic with the type of ears, etc. It was super easy for Grant and I to dress up but not really have to dress up also.
This wasn't even staged. It was getting warm and Rowan took his jacket off, so we snapped the Mr. October photo. So funny!
The neighbors had a perfect prop for our photo :)
Brandon and Karleigh came over for the evening and went trick or treating with us which was so much fun. I couldn't wait to take Rowan out. I knew once he realized he'd get candy for saying trick or treat he would be hooked. And he was...
We had several people comment on how adorable their costumes were.
Life size fire truck!
The neighbors had a block party so we went over there for hot dogs before we took off going door to door.
Pretty awesome costumes. Good work Karleigh and Brandon :) They were awesome helpers for us too!
"Trick or Treat"-so many choices!
Dash was a tow truck driver (they put a hook on the back of his tricycle and he pulled a dump truck where he put his candy-pretty adorable) and Trett was a cute little strong man! We went to a neighborhood a couple blocks from them for the rest of the night which was awesome. They have it blocked off and every house was decked out! The kids were EXHAUSTED by the end of the night.
