Happy half birthday little man! 6 months old already, kind of hard to believe! We are so fortunate to have this happy lovable kid in our family.
This has been a big month for this guy. His first time to America! However, with that came a lot of change/being off schedule, etc.
After being an amazing sleeper for the first 4 months of his life, he's had some serious sleep regression the last 2 months! I decided I wasn't going to bother with sleep training until after we got home, which actually worked out ok, just meant a lot of nursing during the night. Boden has been sleeping with us the last couple months and although co sleeping isn't something I planned on and never really did with Rowan, I have to admit I liked it for the short amount of time we did it. I've really been trying to enjoy every moment of this baby time and I liked all the cuddle time.
This month he did get a little better in his carseat too! He still doesn't love it, but overall he's pretty good!
He doesn't seem to be getting any teeth yet but he is super slobbery :)
Grabs EVERYTHING and makes meal time a little more difficult.
Tried his solid foods. Rice cereal, green beans and sweet potatoes. He's done pretty well with all of it!
Not quite crawling, but can scoot anywhere he wants to go and will go across the room to get a toy.
On his half birthday realized that he can sit up and will scoot to a toy and then sit up and play with it. I was so thrown off when I laid him down, walked away and came back and saw him sitting off! I love the sitting phase, makes it easier for him to entertain himself.
