Sealant Trip

Well this post is coming a little bit late but I left out of town a few days after Grant got back and apparently he doesn't like to blog alone, so here we are 2 weeks later recounting his sealant trip to Bell County. Part of the 1st year schedule is to do sealant trips in rural counties at the elementary schools. They took over the gym and set up a bunch of stations and for 2 days the kids would come in for an oral screening and to seal any teeth that could be.
Looks like they did a little bit of work while they were there... looking like real dentists (except that their office was an elementary school gym).
Don't worry, Grant couldn't work the whole time...he had to spend some time making friends with the kids. They thought he was pretty fun and invited him to come eat lunch with them the next day :) And the van ride home Tuesday night...looks like good times.
Thanks for returning him home safely :)

Was Grant wearing his Halloween costume jacket on the drive home?

  2. Fun time, what a real gift to those children, won't the sealants prolong the life of that tooth by protecting it from decay? I'm really impressed, who sponsored that trip? Impressive!
