Did Taryn get into Nursing school?

Taryn got her acceptance letter to nursing school today in the mail. When there was a huge envelope in the mail box I new that it was going to be an acceptance, or they sent her a lot of stuff on other programs that she should apply to trying to be nice. This was the out side of the envelope.
I was still a little nervous to open is since it could always be a rejection letter inside. Well this is the letter inside. I guess if Taryn passes her criminal background check then she really is in.
Now I haven't told Taryn so please don't email her, call her, or text her, or contact her by calling her mom or even posting a comment since she has set up this blog to email any comments to her email, or some other way that I haven't listed to ruin this surprise. This way she will find out when she is least expecting it and my plan will have worked great. So if you are reading this then you know before she does. If you check back and this has been deleted then feel free to post away. Taryn if you are reading this then you can edit and delete the part about not posting comments. Congratulations Taryn...Love ya.

****(Taryn here now...) So I came home tonight from a wonderful dinner with some extended family, called Grant on the way home to say goodnight, still no mention of any of this. I talked to Grant a few times this afternoon, asking him to please check the mail. They told me I would find out in 2 weeks, and today marked 2 weeks since my interview, but Grant told me he hadn't gotten anything, but assured me that the mail still came on Saturdays so there was hope for finding out tomorrow.

Every day this week I would start getting a little anxious around noon until the mail came around 2:30 or 3. Since Tuesday I would think, "This is the day" but everyday I would check and it wouldn't be there. Once I knew that it wasn't there I was fine and didn't think about it until the next day until around noon. I left for San Diego yesterday and knew I then had to rely on Grant to check the mail and tell me if I got in (and he was not very excited to do this).

I'm still adjusting to the 3 hour time change from home to here in Cali, and we got home pretty late. I had a feeling that Grant maybe knew something, but he was doing a great job not letting on, but I thought that maybe they sent out an email instead of a letter and Grant had seen my email, which is why he wasn't making a big deal about checking the mail today. But, I checked my email, and nothing there. I went to grab my toothbrush and was just going to go to bed, but being a bit blog obsessed I decided I would check my blog to see if anyone had updated, and MUCH to my surprise, MY blog had been updated!!! And it was definitely some fun good news. Grant, good work with the surprise, thanks :) And thanks UK for liking me enough to let me in!

So, you guys are no longer banned from contacting me by any means you can think of! haha. Grant mentioned them all except hopping on a jet and flying out to tell me in person :)

  2. Congrats on getting in. You were a shoe in- is that really how you spell it? You'll graduate the same time all the boys do. Which is great, however really sucky because that means I will never see you in person have a pregnant belly or see your baby! Arrrg. Unless there is an accident.....!
