Navy dentist

One of the most productive afternoons we had in Fallon, was visiting the Navy base. Yes, this base is one that scares me in that we joined the Navy for it's coastal locations, and this one is in a tiny town in the desert. However, in visiting with the dentists at the base, we found out that being stationed there, at least in his payback years, would be VERY slim.

We don't really have any Navy connections and Grant just wanted the chance to talk to a Navy dentist, see what they liked, didn't like, etc and hopefully create a contact. We were so fortunate to find 2 awesome dentists who shared everything we could have wanted them to, one who is getting out after his payback years, and one who is making it a career (both still options we are considering). They gave us a lot of good advice and told us to stay in touch as they would be happy to answer any questions we had in the future as we got closer to being out of school.

The coolest part of this base is that it is an air training facility, Top Gun like, so there are planes flying all over the place, sideways, upside down, really low, a group together, etc. It was fun to watch.

There was also a lot full of old war planes that we went and walked around...

I liked this little blue and grey one (and to top it off, even had a 13).

And we found this hand painted fire engine truck somewhat humorous, so had to take a picture :)
