One morning we got up and went on a hike and saw some petroglyphs and a few small caves. It was a good early morning activity before our day at the pool. I think the kids (including Grant) enjoyed catching lizards more than anything.
In attempt to catch one lizard, he let go of his tail, and Gavin was fascinated by the fact that it continued to move. We told him they tasted really good too, but he was too smart to eat it ;)
A group shot...there were a few more of us that missed out on the photo, but still, we had a pretty good sized group. I was definitely ready to swim by the time we got home. The Nevada desert is hot, even in the morning.
