We continued our fun 3-day weekend with a trip to the beach. We bought another stand up paddle board a couple of weeks again and were excited to both be able to get out there together! The Remedios' met us there and we had such a great time together!

We did a little floating around at first
...and then headed out to the open water before the tide went too far out. When we were driving to the beach, the sky was pretty grey, but after about 30 minutes of us arriving it turned into a gorgeous day!
Once the tide went out far enough that it was going to be hard to get back to our beach, we went in and walked around the tide pools. It continues to get more and more fun with Rowan who is excited to look for fish and crabs.
We headed home around 1:30 and we had plenty to carry, but didn't want to make 2 trips up to the car. So Grant carried both boards (luckily!) and I got everything else (including a toddler distracted by everything along the way). He did a really good job though, just glad I didn't have to carry him which would have been impossible. I love Maeda Flats...such a fun and beautiful beach :)
