Last Saturday we decided to get out and try something new. The weather has cooled down a bit (still not cold at all, but you can be outside without sweating now), so we decided to head just a little bit north and try out a new hike. We saw pics of the view and knew it would be a fun morning activity. I anticipated a lot of stairs, but not nearly as many as there were. This was definitely a workout! My fitbit counted 10000 steps and 82 flights of stairs just on the hike. We had a ton of fun though and even with each of us wearing a kid, we weren't too sore the next day.
Here's what the majority of the trail looked like (although much steeper). All up and down! There are shorter ways to go, but we opted to do the entire trail with all the loops...it was good times :)
The view from the top was gorgeous! It was a perfect morning for this too. We were almost always in the shade but had a sunny view!
Our legs were burning and literally shaking and I was dripping sweat all over Boden's head :) But...totally worth it :)

We walked down one spot to a park area with random statues, etc. Here we had a snack break and played for a little while
I think I might need to make an Okinawa bucket list because I'm sure there are more jems like this just waiting for us to find before we leave this island next summer!
