When Rowan realized that Easter was approaching, the only thing he cared about was having an egg hunt at the beach. We did this every year in Okinawa, since the beach was pretty much our front yard. I wasn't going to argue with him though, this is one of my favorite fun traditions. We went to Moonlight Beach around 4:30pm, brought some dinner and met some friends. It was a warm beach evening which was perfect!
The kids played hard, we ate some dinner and then it was time to "hunt" for eggs. The beach wasn't crowded, but we did have to share it (unlike Okinawa), so it was nice that most people cleared out before we hid eggs.
Our group's setup
"Ready, set, go!"
And they're off! Boden had a slow start but then he really took off! It was fun to watch him collect since last Easter he couldn't even really walk yet
Cute Rowan and Riley
"Cheese!"
And we debuted our new fun kite! Rowan is "kind of obsessed with octopuses" right now, so we decided to get this frameless octopus kite on amazon. It was my first time using a frameless one and it worked amazingly!
It was a perfect fun evening. The kids loved it and I absolutely loved it as well!
