Holly and Jonny visit

The rest of Holly and Jonny's visit was also a success. Potato chip rock was on a whim and turned out to be awesome, but here are a few other things we enjoyed while they were here.
Hiked Annie's Canyon Trail. It has become one of our favorite hikes and both kids did awesome. Rowan hiked the entire thing, and Boden walked the whole way except I wore him in the canyon part because I don't think he is tall enough to do some of the climbing. It was fun and beautiful as always.
We did some backyard lounging during naptimes which was super fun...except Holly's Utah skin got a bit burned :)
And one of the best things was we got to celebrate Holly's birthday with her! We tried a new place, Tender Greens, which was perfect for before Extraordinary Desserts, and then of course finished the evening with some decadent birthday desserts.  We did dinner and dessert the night before her birthday since Grant had to work super late on her birthday.
Birthday morning we made waffles with whipped cream, strawberries and sprinkles and celebrated with candles and balloons :)
And their last day here was the perfect beach day! We went to Fletcher's Cove and the tide was the lowest I'd seen it which was so fun. We got some sandwiches and fruit and Costco and then ate on the beach. I won't complain about the fact that they played with my kids so much which was fun for them and fun for me :)
Thanks for coming to visit, we loved it!!
