Christmas with kids is so much fun! I can still remember the palpable excitement of Christmas Eve growing up. It has definitely changed as I have aged and am now a parent, but it is still a very real excitement!
Grateful that my mom learned how to knit these awesome stockings to carry on the tradition of her mom and my great Aunt Joan. Joan was still alive to make Grant's when we got married, but my mom has made a stocking for each of my kids. This is the newest addition to the bunch!
My never-ending quest to get a cute picture of the 3 of them...They're never perfect but still got some very "real life" results :)

We had a nice time at church (only Sacrament meeting, yay :) where we heard a few Christmas messages and lots of great musical numbers. Then, we headed straight to Arlington and then to the Curtis' for Mexican food for dinner. It was a great day. I didn't want to do anything too late because I wanted to be home with just us as our family for the excitement of Christmas Eve.
Dinner was delicious! We did Mexican last year and thought it would be fun to make it a tradition, so it worked out well that it was their tradition too!
We did a fun quick nativity (Boden was a wiseman, Dylan was baby Jesus, and Rowan wasn't feeling good so sat it out-he ended up throwing up 3/4 through this program and then felt instantly better and never got sick again, so weird, but so grateful he wasn't actually sick and no one else got it!)
When we got home we got on Chrstmas jammies, read some Christmas books, put out cookies for Santa and headed to bed! Santa is on his way and we had some very excited boys (who surprisingly still did a good job going to bed).
