These are the samples I made before the activity. We did one fully covered, like a cake, and the rest we just covered the top with fondant, so it still looked like a cupcake, but with that perfect fondant looking finish.
Here are the final products that I did before and during the activity. I did another fully covered one, with blue ocean looking fondant, with white waves around the base and little goldfish, and then another normal cupcake covered in pink with tie-dye flowers.
And my rolling pin looked like it had been tie-dyed by the end of the night! It SORT OF came clean :)
The girls had a ton of fun, got food coloring everywhere, but loved it, so it was worth the mess :)
