The house below might really be my dream home. Looks like the perfect house with the sand and grass in front of it, the only things separating it from the ocean. Beautiful view, seconds from the ocean, and so charming. I love it.
Since my "dream home" may not be realistic, I found some others I love, in the same neighborhood, but minutes from the beach instead of seconds (which changes the price drastically). I could probably handle walking down the street to get there ;) I love the very pale green color.
Cute little walkway in front of the row of houses. They had to make an appealing park-like area since these houses are so far from the beach (haha, meaning 5 minutes walking).
Finally, I loved this house, but it is much bigger than I will ever need. The part in the middle is a little breezeway between the main huge house and the smaller part of the house above the garage. In a perfect world, Grant and I would rent one of these above-the-garage apartments while we are stationed in Norfolk for a few years for the Navy :) We'll see, but I'm sure this is just dreaming.
As you can tell, I loved it and am excited about the affordability of living so near the beach. These houses are definitely not cheap, but in comparison to the California coastline, they seem VERY affordable!
Can we be neighbors?
ReplyDelete1-I am Ketchum, Idaho today.
ReplyDelete2-If you live in Norfolk, you better pronounce it like the locals.
3-I told you VA was the best : )
