HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT!
Grant was born a summer baby, August 3. Like me, he never had school on his birthday and probably never anticipated that he would. Well when you enter the world of dental school, things change, including the length of summers. And this year, it just so happened that his first day of school and birthday aligned to be the exact same day.
In true elementary school fashion, I made cupcakes for Grant to share with everyone at school, all 60 people in his class :) Here are some pics of the mass of them!
And, it wouldn't be the first day of school without some pictures! (so we can compare to last year...he looks pretty much the same :)

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Grant! While we were in Utah we ran into some old friends of ours from BYU who said they were in the Dental program with you there. But gosh I am having the hardest time remembering their names right now. They just had a baby named McKay...I think, and they are both suuuuper musical...ringing any bells?
ReplyDeleteYou are so nice! I have been elected to the "party planning committee" which means that I make cakes for birthdays. On Wed I have a request for chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. Any ideas on how to make it more interesting? Or a good way to transport it? And I love Grant's pictures and lunch box!

ReplyDeleteJust curious....how did you transport all of those cupcakes? What did you put them in and did they survive. You have to try the cupcakes on a stick from Bakerella. I've made those so many times I can do it in my sleep now. Time consuming, but not hard at all. You are mega creative, so I know you'll come up with something totally unique and cute.
