Don't cut off a finger

A girl in Grant's class hosted a party tonight for everyone to bring their favorite dessert and a pumpkin to carve. It was a lot of fun, and there was some good food and some cute pumpkins.
As people stabbed at their pumpkins with big sharp knives, there were several comments about the ramifications of one of these future dentists cutting some fingers off. Would you let Captain Hook in your mouth with a drill? There was a good campfire down below, but we did the fire thing last night and I didn't need 2 pairs of clothes smelling like smoke...so we stayed upstairs with the pumpkin guts. The wall of pumpkins...guess which one is ours...The happiest pumpkin of all! (the edentulous one :)
And I don't think I have blogged about this dessert yet...if you want something amazing, addicting, and terrible for you, this is it! SO good.
Some of the pumpkin carvers...all fingers intact.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

  2. Looks like you had lots of fun. I think jack-o-lanterns are my favorite part of Halloween. The singles did them at our ward FHE last night. I have one each for Dad and I to carve, he is counting the minutes until he gets to do it. LOL

  3. I don't know if I should try that dessert or not- it looks so yummy! Thanks for the tip- or maybe no thanks for the extra poundage I can count on! ;)

Great pumpkins! Ken and I were just reminiscing about our fun Halloween last year when you and the Meldens were here. Sigh.

  6. Luvin' the cute pumpkin. We carved ours too early and they looked like shriveled up, old, toothless orange blobs. The birds came and ate some of them too. Had to go buy more.
