Our 4th of July this year was pretty low key but perfect. In the morning we enjoyed the gorgeous day and went for a family walk/run... Liked this picture with the flag and the gorgeous ocean.
I was lucky enough to get a good afternoon nap with Rowan (those are some of my favorite moments even though I wake up with neck pain every time :) We both get so hot when we sleep but it's comfy nonetheless.
While Grant napped, Rowan and I played and I got the cutest smiles out of him. The pics I got of him this day are some of my favorite!
This one is hilarious. "You talkin to me?!"
Crazy to compare this to a similar pic I took of Grant and Rowan the day after he was born. I know it's so cliche but I truly can't believe how fast they grow. Time flies!
Happy 4th of July :)
Our neighbors put on a great party! We had delicious food and fun times with old and new friends.
I tried out the Moby wrap for the first time and he slept like a champ! I fed him right before the party started and he slept for FIVE hours!!! We didn't miss any of the party. We mingled, ate, watched fireworks, etc. all from the front deck. I was worried he wouldn't sleep that night, but after the fireworks he woke up, ate and went right back to bed. Such an awesome little guy :)
So grateful for this amazing country we are privileged to live in. Weird to think this was our last 4th of July in the United States for 3 years. We will hopefully still have some celebrations on base but it'll still be different. Being a part of this new military "family" has also given me an added amount of gratitude for those who fight for our freedom.

Rowan is seriously so cute. I love all his big smiles!
