Happy Halloween 2017

A How to Train your Dragon Halloween!
The boys really got into the fun of the holiday which made it that much better. We had the trunk or treat on Friday night and then Trick or Treated on Halloween night around our neighborhood. Besides the fact that the houses have bigger yards that in San Diego which made the walking distance between them a bit farther, it was a really fun place to trick or treat!
Here are my cute blue dragon and red dragon! They had so much fun playing in these costumes. Rowan wore his everyday for the week leading up to Halloween.
And our cute little Toothless Night Fury (seemed like such an appropriate costume for an infant!) I love homemade costumes but didn't have the time or energy to make it happen, so was so grateful to have Tammy here to make this awesome costume for him! It went great with the other dragon costumes (that we borrowed) she made for my nephews last year!
Grant and i wore Viking hats to make it a family costume. I love having a family costume where Grant and my costume requires little to no effort but helps tie it all together!

I figured Dylan would sleep for the actual trick or treating portion of the night, so I wanted a costume that worked with the ergo as well. This was perfect because I just tied his wings onto the outside of the ergo and I had my sleepy little dragon!
They were so cute trick or treating. One house had a huge bowl of candy with a few celery sticks on top (as a joke). Boden decided that he would rather have celery and the boy handing out the candy thought it was hilarious. He was so content chomping on that stick of celery for the rest of the night. When we came back to head towards home he asked to knock and get another piece (which he did). So funny!
 Enjoying his second celery stick
I was grateful Grant's parents were here to stay home and pass out candy for us while we go to trick or treat as a family. Grant had a busy week but was able to spend the night hanging out which was great! Happy Halloween from these adorable candy munching dragons.
